- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or related field and experience
- STRONG lightning web component development skillset
- Certified Saslesforce.com Technical Architect, Advanced Developer (DEV-501) or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in HTML, XML, CSS, Flex, JavaScript, ASP, SQL, Java or C++, REST/SOAP-based web services
- Database experience writing queries in SQL/SOQL, working with Data Loader, Workbench and ETL tools
- (Informatica, Mulesoft, Data Loader) to perform bulk data updates
- Proficient with integrating Salesforce with other applications using SOAP, REST, BULK and Streaming APIs
- Experience with AWS products (S3, SES, SQS, Redshift)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams

As a Salesforce Developer in the Tax Salesforce Organization, you will help own and contribute to defining and governing coding standards, developing custom code, implementing design patterns, and refactoring and/or simplifying existing code. You will be expected to own the development, testing, release, support, and feature enhancements for both custom applications and managed packages. In addition to working in the latest Salesforce technologies such as Lightning and Einstein you will also have the opportunity to work with a variety of AWS, internally developed and third-party technologies needed to innovate in the space. Further you will implement and support integration with those systems to create a seamless user experience for our customers. While Salesforce will be the main focus, you will need to be willing and able to learn and support various business initiatives that have direct integration with Salesforce, and serve as the Administrator on the instance where needed.
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of key technical aspects of the Salesforce platform, including custom development with a heavy focus on both Aura based Lightning Components as well as Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Responsible for developing LWC, Apex code, Visualforce pages, and other technologies to build customized solutions that support business requirements
- Perform technical analysis, level-of-effort estimation, design, development, implementation of applications
- Provide support across systems and related integrations native to the Salesforce ecosystem
- Troubleshoot and fix defects for planned releases and production issues
- Manage a release process to test, validate and implement new applications/code, and updates to existing applications/code that support key business groups
- Evaluating complex business and technical requirements, communicating system constraints and solutions to technical and non-technical customers
- Partner with global business stakeholders to proactively identify, drive, and build improvements, enhancements, and system customization that solve business needs
- Seek out ways to utilize Salesforce to improve processes and productivity, and make recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace by keeping up to date with Salesforce and other software releases, features and best practices
- Experience with integrating Salesforce with other 3rd party solutions (e.g., DocuSign, Conga, etc.)
- Knowledge of Salesforce products (Ex. Salesforce for Outlook, Einstein Analytics)
- Proficiency with AWS products (S3, SES, SQS, Redshift)
- Salesforce Certifications: JavaScript Developer I, Platform Developer II, and/or Integration Architecture Designer
